The SIA Security Guard Refresher Training in Stratford is available for all licenced Security Guard who need to renew their licence. Starting 1 April 2025, security guards holding an SIA licence must complete a refresher qualification before renewing their licence. Who Needs to Complete the Refresher Training?

✅ From 1 April 2025: All security guards applying for licence renewal must complete a refresher qualification.

Multiple-choice test – 28 questions (45 minutes).
Practical assessment – Demonstrating search techniques.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Requirement

From 1 October 2024, first aid training must include:

Managing life-threatening bleeding.
Clearing and maintaining open airways.

This requirement aligns with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards.
